LIVING OUR VIBRATIONAL BEST

6 STEPS TO ACHIEVING OUR VIBRATIONAL BEST

Living for long periods in a pool of lower vibrations (I call the lv-pool or “lv-pull”) such as feelings of guilt, shame, fear, resentment, anger and other lower vibrational emotions is harmful both psychologically and physiologically. It damages even the cells in our body. Thus, if we want to live happier, healthier lives, it is vital that we raise our vibrations.

Here are 6 steps to achieve this:

1.               Mindfulness

Living in the now is important. Yesterday is only a place of learning not living. It doesn’t help to linger or even take up residence there. Constantly wishing we had done things differently is a perfect example of residing in the past. It’s an lv-pool where our body, mind and spirit cannot thrive or sustain us over long periods of time. So, we need to strive to live more moments in the now. Taking the time to actually enjoy every sip of coffee instead of drinking mindlessly while thinking of a stressful task that lies ahead is an example of being mindful in the moment. Being mindful removes any other thoughts and emotions for a moment. Enjoy a “mindful” stroll in the garden and breathe in the wonderful fragrances and bathe in the wonderful colours which have been gifted to us, all the while casting aside any other feelings or thoughts for that moment. All these blissfully “mindful” moments add up, and they help us out of the lv-pool and into a vibrationally higher state of wellbeing.

2.       Thought Awareness

Our thoughts are energy. An analogy I often use with my clients is to get them to imagine that their thoughts are linked to a battery. If we think negative thoughts, we drain the battery. When we think positive thoughts, we charge the battery. The battery is an analogy for our vital source of energy which sustains our existence and wellbeing (body, mind and spirit). The regular use of positive affirmations and positive self-talk will, through repetition, change our negative and destructive thought patterns and we will start leaning towards a more positive way of thinking. However, this can only happen when we become aware of our thoughts. An example of a positive affirmation: I am feeling so powerful and confident right now, I feel so strong and amazing, I am awesome. Words have power, we can feel them vibrate within us. We should use them even if we don’t feel like it. Putting on a fake smile while we say positive words helps too because when we use our muscles while smiling, it alerts the subconscious mind that things are not so bad after all, and it will then release endorphins “happy hormones” to balance out the cortisol levels that come from the lv-pool of lower emotions, and this is to enable the mind, body and emotions to become in sync with every aspect of our being as a whole. We can easily fool the subconscious mind for it does not know when we are just pretending to be strong or happy. (Knowing this, can be used to our advantage).

3.       Emotion Red Alert

The best way to remain in a higher vibrational frequency state of being and out of the lv-pool is to create an emotional red alert or safety net for our thoughts and emotions. To do this, we need to monitor not just our thoughts but also our emotions. As soon as we start to feel emotionally drained, we need to realise that we have just been hijacked by one or more of the lv-pool vibrations and we, therefore, need to make haste and jump out of the toxic pool. The quickest way to do this is by changing our thoughts. It’s always useful to have a positive affirmation or mantra on hand, such as the one mentioned above in the thought awareness step. We can also have inspirational songs on our playlists that can uplift our spirits as soon as we start to feel down. Be proactive and create a positive playlist just for such moments – a safety net of sorts.

4.       Colour Active

Just as thought is energy, so too is colour. It is a powerful source of energy that we can draw on if we find ourselves landing in the lv-pool. When we’re feeling anxious, agitated or even angry, we should stay clear of low-frequency colours such as reds and browns and rather wear clothes on opposite colours such as blues and greens. Instead of wearing clothing, we can also focus on the colours, visually view them or imagine them. If we’re feeling down or tired, we can wear yellows and oranges to bring vitality into our vibrations. There’s nothing like the yellowish orange of a beautiful sunrise to get us going. Being proactive by keeping pictures of sunrises and other serene pictures of nature on our phones is advisable. An lv-pool is sadly always lurking around the corner and can rear its head when we least expect it. So, play it safe – be proactive and ready.

5.       Laughter

Laughter is a powerful antidote against the lv-pool. As soon as we laugh, the lv-pool spits us out. Yay – victory. Keep a few jokes on hand or watch a few funny TikTok videos. There’s no easier way to release endorphins into our body than a few good laughs. Goodbye lv-pool.

6.       Opt for the Higher Vibrational Trio (Love, Forgiveness and Gratitude)

It is no secret that love, forgiveness and grat
itude are emotions that automatically bring us into a higher vibrational frequency. If we can learn to live with emotions and thoughts of gratitude, and constantly embrace love (especially towards ourselves), as well as being in a state of forgiveness, then we will find ourselves living in a state of bliss and operating in a place of equilibrium (our body, mind and spirit will be in sync, operating as a whole). We will be healthier and happier individuals, and the lv-pool will be nowhere near to trap us.

Conclusion

To live a fuller, happier and healthier life we need to keep out of the lv-pool and deliberately strive for vibrational highs, without the use of medications but rather by making use of our own innate powers with the help of our subconscious mind. The subconscious will release endorphins on demand once we train our thoughts and emotions to work for us and not against us.
